The early-access list
This notice covers one thing: the email list on getsteamroll.com. It explains what we collect when you join, why, and how to leave. The app will have its own, fuller Privacy Policy before it launches.
- The only thing we ask you for is your email address.
- We only email you about Steamroll's launch and early access.
- We don't sell it, and we don't use it for targeted ads.
- Every email has a link to remove yourself. One tap and you're off.
What we collect
When you join the list, we collect:
- Your email address.
- When you signed up and when you confirmed, the language your browser asked for, and which page you joined from.
- Your IP address, only to stop spam: we turn it into a scrambled code (a hash) to count repeated sign-ups, and we never store it with your email.
How we use it
We use your email only to:
- confirm that you asked to join (we send one confirmation email);
- tell you about Steamroll's launch and early access; and
- keep the list secure and free of fake sign-ups.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your email address, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
Service providers handle it for us, under contract, only to run this list: Resend sends our email, Supabase stores the list and Vercel hosts this site.
We never share your email with sportsbooks, prediction markets or other gambling operators.
How long we keep it
Until you remove yourself or ask us to delete it. If you never confirm, we delete it after 30 days. If the app launches and you don't create an account, we delete it 12 months after launch.
Your choices and rights
Remove yourself any time with the link in any email we send. To see or delete the email we hold, write to hello@getsteamroll.com; we reply within 45 days.
California residents have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and not to be treated differently for using these rights. Residents of other states with privacy laws have similar rights, and may appeal a decision by writing to us with “Appeal” in the subject line.
Cookies
This site sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking. We honor Global Privacy Control signals. Because we don't track you across other sites, we don't respond differently to Do Not Track.
Ages
Steamroll is for adults: 18 and older, and 21 and older for betting features. The list isn't meant for anyone under 18. If we learn someone under 18 signed up, we delete their email.
Changes and contact
If we change this notice in a way that matters, we'll email the list before it takes effect.
